My story

Abby is a gentle and affectionate dog who may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once trust is built, her loving personality shines through. Although a bit nervous around unfamiliar faces, Abby quickly settles in and becomes a loyal companion, offering endless love and affection to those she trusts. Abby has a history of Ehrlichia, a tick-borne illness, and has been diagnosed with a Grade I/VI heart murmur. Despite these health conditions, Abby is doing well and continues to thrive. She also had previous skin issues, but rest assured, those concerns are now a thing of the past, and she’s currently in excellent health. With a calm and sweet demeanor, Abby will do best in a patient and loving home where she can continue to build confidence. She would thrive in a quiet environment where she can feel safe and secure, and in return, she’ll give you her heart. If you’re looking for a dog who is ready to bond and share unconditional love once she’s warmed up, Abby may be the perfect companion for you!
