She is attached to humans; loves tummy rubs, even around strangers. She could be a little shy when approached with new stuff, but would not take long for her to respond passionately. She is friendly to strangers and children alike; shares food and toys with other dogs, and never engage in fight with other dogs; very well behaved, not a chewer or barker; also enjoys her daily walks and car-ride. Bassie is obedient and enjoys being around people, will surely make a great companion dog. Bassie’s rescue story: Bassie was rescued out from a ditch by the volunteer on her daily walk. Her seven siblings were also found nearby. Because that area is an industrial park, banked by a storm drain, with heavy trucks in and out all the time, hardly an environment where young puppies can survive! Therefore, the volunteer posted a plea for adoption on line for these vulnerable puppies. The rescuer responded and placed the puppies with foster families while start preparing them for their forever homes.
