My story

Hi there! My name is Paige, and I’m a very adorable black mackerel tabby with a plush, velvety coat. My foster mom says I’m a “big girl,” which just means there’s more of me to love! 💕 I’m on the lookout for a forever family to call my very own. Here are a few of my favorite things: *Soaking up all the pets (I’m a bit of a cuddle hog!) *Chatting with the backyard birdies (they always have the best gossip) *Munching on yummy snacks 🍗 *Romping around with my foster kitty friends! I’m a playful, slightly tomboyish girl (I was the only girl in my litter, after all), and while I might seem a little shy at first, it's just because I come from a tough beginning. My siblings and I were abandoned, so I learned to be cautious—but with a little patience and kindness, my goofy, loving side shines through in no time! I’d do best in a calm home, with people who will give me the time and space I need to truly feel safe and loved. And if there’s already a friendly kitty or two around who loves to play? Even better! I’d thrive with furry friends who can match my playful energy. Once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal, snuggly sidekick. Promise. 💖 My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eat wet and dry food, and am litterbox perfect. They say that’s good! I currently live with my foster family in Sacramento. NOTE: We prefer families with children to bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
