My story

3rd pic was when he first got here. You can see a huge difference. Last photo was where he was rescued from. Mr. B was living a sad existence. The jerk that “owned” him moved out and left him in the filthy pen that he called home. A neighbor was throwing food to him but she was afraid of him because of the stigma attached to the breed. Thankfully she reached out to Hope For Paws and they were not afraid and got him out of there! He was thin, filthy, not neutered, skin infection and major ear infecitons in both ears. He was so accustomed to living in filth that he would pee and poop right where he slept and ate. He took a while to realize that he didn’t have to live like that anymore. He’s so nice with the other dogs, he avoids confrontation. Totally fine with cats. He is slightly apprehensive with men but quickly warms up once he sees they are there to be his friends. He would be fine as an only dog or part of a pack. Our only concern is that he is not pushed and picked on by any bossy dogs. He’s so kind, we don’t want him to live a life where he has any stress or fear. We are still battling the chronic ear infections and the skin allergies. We just changed his diet and between that and the allergy shot & ear medication, we are confident that we can get him past all that. Please note that this breed is notoriously fragile when it comes to allergies. He may need monthly or regular allergy shots with your vet. But it’s so worth it to share your life with a luvbug like Mr. B

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bronx aka Mr. B or B-Box, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
