My story

JJ has lived through more in his few years than most dogs ever will. He came to us after being seized from a hoarding situation as part of a legal case involving dozens of animals. Despite the neglect he endured early in life, JJ is a gentle soul with so much love to give!He’s a resilient guy—calm, observant, and endlessly patient. JJ enjoys soft beds, quiet corners, and gentle attention. He thrives in a peaceful home where he can feel safe and secure. JJ does have a few special needs. He experiences seizures of unknown origin, which are currently being managed under veterinary supervision. He also has luxating patellas in both back legs, a condition that can make extended activity challenging. Because of this, JJ isn`t a hiking buddy—but he is the perfect couch companion, cozy shadow, and hangout kind of guy!He’s incredibly friendly with all humans—whether you`re someone he just met or a familiar face, JJ is all about making gentle connections and soaking up affection.Even more heartwarming? JJ gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He enjoys their company and would be thrilled to have a canine companion in his new home.
