My story

This adorable two-year-old teddy bear is an absolute sweetheart! Simba knows basic commands and loves his treats as rewards. Simba is a small pup weighing in at only 42 lbs. He is a red & white Woolly Siberian. He gets along well with other dogs, loves to play and would do best in a home with an active canine companion, preferably female. Simba is house-trained, and loves riding in the car. When excited, Simba may jump up on you but is easily corrected. While good with children, with his exuberance we recommend those above five-years-old only. Simba is fine loose in the house when the humans leave as long as he has a canine playmate with him. He loves toys and chewing on his bones! A typical young Husky, Simba does pull on walks. When he sees a squirrel or another dog, he gets really excited and pulls harder. Simba does calm down, but his forever home will need to continue his training on lead. While in our foster care, Simba has not been exposed to cats, however judging from his small animal prey drive, it is recommended, no cats. Simba’s foster mom says, “He is an awesome dog who is very affectionate and loving. He loves belly rubs and is super cute when he gives you his big fluffy paw when you ask for it.” If you’re familiar with Woolly Huskies, you’ll understand!
