Meet Cheezit! Cheezit is a total ladies man! He loves women and female dogs alike! He even knows how to turn on the charm by pushing his whole body up against the fence, asking for all the pets and hugs! He's a very playful young dog who often gets the excited zoomies when his people come into his yard or kennel. Cheezit has unfortunately been with us since May of 2023 and desperately wants a family to call his own. He is incredibly loyal and would do anything for his beloved people. Cheezit is not only just a big love bug, though, he's also very smart and ready to learn new things in order to make his person happy. He already knows commands such as 'Sit', 'Down', 'Wait', and he walks well on a harness. With his attentive nature and love for snacks, you could teach this guy anything! He's a great size for taking on hikes and other adventures, though he wouldn't mind some days just lounging and cuddling! Cheezit has been paired with lots of dogs here at the shelter and seems to prefer confident female friends, though he may do well with the right male canine friend as well. He loves to wrestle and play chase with his doggy friends so he may also do best with a younger dog who is a bit more sturdy! His longest friend that he had was Dakota, they are not currently on the same property together, so they are not paired, but they would love a home together! They would eat, sleep, and wrestle together day and night! Call the Ranch to meet handsome Cheezit today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated. The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies ) APPLY NOW July 4, 2025, 2:28 pm
