My story

Hello there! I’m River—a gentle, three-year-old brown tabby with a heart as soft as my fur. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but offer me a few head and neck scratches, and I’ll be your devoted companion for life. Once I feel safe and settled, I might even invite you to give me a soft belly rub—that’s my way of saying I trust you. I thrive in peaceful, quiet environments and would do best in a calm, adult-only home without dogs or young children. As for other cats, the staff isn’t quite sure how I feel about feline roommates, so being your one-and-only might be the perfect match. If you’re looking for a sweet soul to share your quiet moments with, I’d love to meet you.
