PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION IF INTERESTED THERE IS AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE https://www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ This little pup was found with his momma and two siblings dumped in a park in 100 degree heat .. he is a sweet boy approx 4 months old and 8 lbs as of July 1, he will probably be in the 15 to 20 lb range when fully grown we did a Dna test on his momma and she was a mix of mainly Chihuahua , miniature schnauzer and Dachshund. he loves to play with his buddies in the yard and loves toys he is pretty active and is not fully house or harness trained yet due to his age he would love a buddy to play with and his brother Charlie and sister Phoebe are also available for adoption THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS,WE SHIP OUR DOGS WITH MIGHTY MUTT SHIPPING TO THE NORTH EAST OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under the age of 10 years. WE REQUIRE VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER The total adoption fee of $600 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
