My story

Hi, my name is Capri!  I have lived a tough life as a mama of multiple litters.  A tiny mama like me gets tired, and I was actually pretty happy to be brought inside and have humans take care of me!   I’m a very personable girl; I like to check in and see what you’re up to, and get pets! I like human contact so much that at first, I would get a little overstimulated and get a bit slappy with my paws, but I’ve learned to gently bat at hoomans with my paws and not my claws, instead of smacking. Still, I need a home with adults and older teenagers only, who can understand and give me a bit of space if I’m overexcited.   As you can see from my pictures I’m a pretty, petite girl who enjoys a cozy, quiet place to hang out.  I like high up places since they make me feel safe, so a cat tree would be awesome for me! I really like wand toys a lot, too! I like wet and dry food.  I’m just so happy not to worry anymore about where my next meal is coming from!  And treats are the way to my heart!  I’ve gotten along well with several cats since coming to the rescue.  With proper slow introductions, I will probably do well with other cats, as long as they are not particularly rambunctious, and give me space when I need it.
