Calliope

My story

Calliope is a sweet little girl who was found as a stray in downtown Albany. Within days of bringing her into our rescue, she gave birth to three tiny kittens. Her maternal instincts were on point, and she continues to be an incredible "mommy figure" to all the other cats in her life. She loves to cuddle and groom other kitties, and is incredibly doting and loving. She would do well in a house with other gentle or playful kitties. She also would do fine as a singular kitty as long as you have a lot of love and cuddles for her. She is very affectionate and sweet. She is also incredibly fond of catnip toys. :) Note: Calliope has grown comfortable with the big friendly dogs in our home but appears more comfortable with female dogs than male dogs. If you have a dog in your home, there may need to be a slow introduction process to ensure Calliope's comfort level.
