Bruno is a good example of what it is to be resilient. In his three years of life, this little guy has lived in a shelter, had a broken leg, lived in an abusive environment, abandoned in the mountains in mid winter, and he is currently in his third foster home. Yet, Bruno is a happy dog with a lot to offer. He`s a cuddler in bed and a good companion for reading or watching TV. He`s house trained. He loves to take walks. He will make you feel like the most important person in the world when he greets you with a heartwarming hello upon arriving home. He likes being the center of attention. He lives with a house full of other dogs, and he gets along fine with them. He even enjoys a little game of run and chase with anyone who is game. He loves to hear what a good boy he is. It is the best reinforcement. His past has not, however, left him unaffected. He has developed a case of `Little Dog Syndrome` and has appointed himself to wear the barking badge of protection. He is looking for a human with patience and understanding and sympathy for what he has been through. A human that will help him learn that he does have a job, but it is not as a protector. His job is to relax and be a dog. A human who will allow him to stop and sniff the grass when inclined. Someone who will encourage his emerging interest in toys.Someone who can continue to teach him he can rely on humans to keep him from harm rather than the reverse. He is making tremendous progress. He would do best in a quiet home with a yard, structure and routine, and a human who spends a lot of time there. Bruno`s fee is $340. He is current on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. To meet your best friend go to ofosa.org and fill out an application. Adopt some love. Bruno is full of it.
