My story

Puddles and her much-loved mama, Raine, are looking for their next great adventure in a forever home! Puddles is a gorgeous little kitten, and her mama's only daughter, so, of course, her mama spoils her! They love each other's company, and play and cuddle together. Puddles is a very cuddly girl who seeks out human company. She learned that from her mama who is an extraordinarily friendly girl. Puddles is very good with handling, and loves to be scooped up. She is a lap girl, but watch out for your toes! Puddles is an expert acrobat and she really likes playing with the cat dancer showing off her hops! Puddles likes the wand toys, but her favorite thing might be the spring toys - she will chase them all over the apartment until they get stuck behind a door or under the couch. Both Puddles and her mom are out in the open whenever new people come and they spend a good amount of time visiting and checking out the new people. They also like laying on the couch with their foster parents - each in their own spot. Raine usually prefers the ottoman and Puddles will be on the end of the couch either against the back cushion by feet or on top of the arm next to the window. Raine and Puddles are a very bonded pair, so we will not consider splitting them up. They adore each other, and they deserve to stay together! If you would like to meet and possibly adopt this amazing feline, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please. CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home. At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone. Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home. Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Puddles (& Raine), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
