Arya

My story

Arya recently was surrendered because her family couldn`t take her where they were moving. We hope her time in the shelter is a tiny blip in her story and that she finds her forever home soon! She is an energetic, playful girl. She has lived with a senior dog before. She might do better with a dog who can match her energy level, although she is a bit scared in dog play groups right now. Arya chases small animals in the yard, and we are recommending that she not live with cats or small animals. She knows the commands Sit, Come, Stay, and Shake. Her former owners reported that she is mostly housetrained, with an occasional accident. She loves to run and might make a good exercise buddy! She is still learning how to use her energy in the best `good girl` ways. She can be jumpy and mouthy in her play style right now, so she would do better in a home without small kids. Arya is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready for her new home!
