My story

SOPHIA is a gorgeous dilute calico who was a mommy cat to three beautiful kittens, which have all been adopted. SOPHIA loves to just hang out and enjoys the company of other cats. She makes the cutest squawks when pet and would do best with other lowkey cats to hang out with. SOPHIA is already spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and litter box trained. She has tested negative for FIV/FelV. eDOB 10/26/2018 SCHEDULE A VISIT - Please drop us a note telling us a little about your household, your reasons for looking to adopt, and what you are looking for in a pet. Include your availability and we'll get back to you! OUR EMAIL: - animalsindistressnj@gmail.com APPLICATIONS: - To submit an application directly, go to: animals-in-distress.org/adoption-application/ ADOPTION PROCESS & FEES - You must be 21 years or older to adopt. - There is an application & approval process. - Once approved, the adoption fee is $150 per pet. ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: - Testing for FeLV & FIV - Vaccinations (FVRCP/Distemper & Rabies) - Spay or neuter of the cat - Microchipping If the animal you are interested in is part of a bonded pair, please only submit an application if you are considering adopting both. Only homes within a driving distance of 45 minutes or less will be considered for kittens under 6 months of age. We reserve the right to deny any application and our adoptions are NOT on a first come - first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals in our care.
