My story

Do you love snacks? Wish you had a best friend to share them with? Meet Pretzel! This beautiful brindle girl is almost 6 years old and is ready to twist her way right into your heart. She has kind eyes and a friendly nature. Pretzel has done amazing with her training here at the shelter, showing just how smart she is! Pretzel can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly—especially if there are treats involved. Once she’s comfy, she loves greeting everyone she passes with a polite tail wag and sweet expression. Volunteers say she’s a dream on the leash, making strolls together a breeze. Whether you`re in the mood for a long walk or a cozy nap on the couch, Pretzel is your perfect match—those just happen to be two of her favorite things! Pretzel also attends dog playgroups at the shelter, she should meet any potential canine siblings to make sure it’s a good fit.Pretzel is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and so ready to find her forever family. If you’re looking for the best gal around, Pretzel is waiting to meet you!Pretzel recently went on a Dog Day Out! Here`s what our volunteer had to say: Pretzel is great girl. She enjoys zoomies in the backyard. Chasing a tennis ball is is great fun. She doesn`t bring it right back, but when she`s done she lays down & drops the ball between her front paws. Too cute. She asked to go out each time she needed to potty. Such a good girl! She likes being with her people. Wherever you go, she goes too just like your shadow. She already knows how to sit.On another day out: Pretzel is truly a gem! She proved herself the sweetest pup as we went on a hike and introduced her to people at the park. She was great around others, and although energetic, understood how to walk on a leash very well. If I were able to adopt her full time- I would have. I believe she would make a great fit into any home with some space for her to play and a loving family to give her the attention she deserves!Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
