My story

PEPPO HAS BEEN WAITING OVER A YEAR FOR A HOME! PLEASE COME MEET HIM AND GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!! Meet Peppo! He is around 2 years old. Peppo is definitely a special little guy. He is high energy and would do best with a cat savvy person. He absolutely loves to play so he will need to be adopted by someone who has the energy to keep up with him! He is leash trained and loves to go on walks to explore the world around him. Peppo came to St. Sophia's after we got a call stating that their neighbor had kicked out his cat with a bad eye infection and he was desperately trying to get back into his home and the neighbor's home. Poor little guy was terrified. A kind volunteer went over and snatched him up and he went right away to a foster home. His eye has been treated but since the infection had gone so long without treatment there is permanent scarring. He has minor vision loss but can still see and get around just fine! Despite what Peppo has been through he is still wants human companionship and desperately wants love. He does have a tendancy to play rough which his foster parents are working with him. He needs a compassionate, understanding person who will give him the security he needs and is ok with continuing the training process to deter the rough play. Due to Peppo being high energy he would do best in a home with no little kids. Peppo does need to be an only cat, as other cats do cause overstimulation and biting from him. He has not met a dog in our care. Come meet him today!
