Elixir

My story

Elixir was rescued from a high volume shelter in October of 2022. He was adopted quickly because he is a total ham but returned several months later. The problem? He can be a little over the top- in everything. He is one of the most affectionate cats you will ever meet, however, his zest for life carries over in all things. He can get a little too amped up when playing and can play way too rough with other kitties. He is also easily over stimulated and can bite at times. Because he is so amazingly sweet though, we took him to the vet to see if meds would help - guess what! They do! He is now settled back into foster care and doing very well. He can still get a bit too over the top with affection or play and nip. He really must go to a very experienced cat person. As an only pet he would likely flourish. He just needs a very specific type of home and he will make someone so happy! He is absolutely gorgeous and healthy. He is also well behaved and doesn't make a mess at all. It is pretty easy to clip his nails and he uses his scratching post like a champ. Let us know if he might fit into your life!November 3, 2024, 11:08 am
