My story

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION Pringles is currently in foster care in Houston, Tx, We ship our dogs with Mighty Mutt Shipping IF INTERESTED THERE IS AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE https://www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ This sweet boy has had a rough life, he is approx 4 years old and 43 lbs.. we are not sure of his breed mix, but he may have some Beagle/lab in him.. he is a really nice dog, when we rescued him from the local shelter, he had been found dragging his back leg into a local business and they called animal control to pick him up, his left back leg was broken in several places and he had heart worms. we treated his heartworms according to the AHS recommendations but our Orthopedic Surgeon was unable to repair his leg as it was an old injury and had already set into place, so the only option was to amputate .. he hops around really well and is a lot happier now that he does not have to drag his leg around, he is house and crate trained and will run into his crate to sleep and will hang out in a doggie bed with the other dogs during the day..he is a bit of a Loner and doesn't like to play with the other dogs, but does well with them, he would rather hang out with a chew stick... so he would be a great companion for someone as an only dog or with a sweet laid back buddy.. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TX OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years. WE REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF VET RECORDS ON YOUR CURRENT OR PAST DOG FOR OUR REVIEW. RECORDS MUST SHOW THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER AS THE OWNER The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip.transport and the required interstate health certificate..The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. care. Our application is online at https://www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ Important information. Submission of Application does not guarantee approval for adoption. NOTE: Shaggy Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization.
