My story

TJ is being virtually fostered by Veterinary Surgical Centers (VSC). We thank VSC for giving TJ additional exposure so he can get adopted sooner! Come meet me during our events Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM at the Homeward Trails Manny Law Adoption Center, 11116 Fairfax Station Rd, Fairfax Station, VA. KNOWN WITH DOGS: TJ can hang out with dogs who aren't really interested in play with him. He also enjoys walking with trusted canine friends. KNOWN WITH CATS: TJ has lived with cats in the past though we would recommend a slow introduction to be sure he can do equally well with new cat companions. KNOWN WITH KIDS: We do not recommend TJ to be placed with children. KNOWN CUES: Sit, Stay, Shake, Down, Come, Potty and Bed. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING/OR CRATING: TJ is crate trained but can be loud in a crate. He is not recommended for homes with noise constraints. KNOWN LIKES: TJ loves to cuddle with his family for bedtime. He is also a fan of getting brushed and having his head toweled. KNOWN DISLIKES: TJ does not care for strangers and needs to be put away when service people come over.TJ is afraid of big delivery vehicles and tries to chase them. In terms of training, TJ is a superstar - he knows all the basics like sit, stay, down, come, potty, and bed, making him a breeze to care for and train. And while he may be a bit vocal in his crate, TJ is fully crate trained and can easily adjust to his cozy den with a little patience and reassurance. When it comes to likes and dislikes, TJ is a cuddle bug through and through - he adores snuggling up with his family for bedtime and cherishes every moment spent by your side. However, TJ is not fond of strangers and may need to be kept away when service people come over.
