My story

Ron Swanson is a dog of few words (mostly because he’s a dog), but if he could talk, he’d tell you emotions are for people who don’t have backyard sun to lie in. A little reserved at first—like any respectable gentleman—Ron has been quietly transforming into a braver, more confident version of himself at the sanctuary. The only thing missing? A home worthy of his stoic heart. Ron may not be the type to leap into your arms or spoon on the couch while watching rom-coms. That’s not his style. But he will join you on your favorite walking trail, share a peaceful sunbath in the yard, and absolutely accept treats—because this dog loves snacks almost as much as he loves personal space. He enjoys the company of other dogs (especially the confident, no-nonsense types), and would appreciate a canine roommate to help him navigate the mysterious art of domestic life.
