My story

Meet Dolly, a sweet 5-year-old Carolina Dog mix who was rescued from a shelter in Georgia and brought to Big Dog Ranch with hopes of finally finding her forever home. With her calm, gentle demeanor and moderate energy level, she makes a wonderful companion for just about any home environment. Dolly is great on a leash, fully housetrained, and knows her basic commands. She’s good with other dogs, gets along well with children, and enjoys a good cuddle session as much as she loves splashing in water or playing with her favorite toys. Her easygoing personality makes her a great choice for first-time dog owners or seniors looking for a loyal, loving companion. She would do well in a home with a yard or even in an apartment or condo, as long as she gets daily exercise and attention. While Dolly is not a good fit for homes with cats due to her prey drive, she’s eager to bond with her people and settle into a new chapter of life. If you’re looking for a laid-back yet affectionate dog who’s ready to be your loyal sidekick, Dolly might be just the one for you!
