My story

My name is Serena, and I'm going to tell you an absolute tragedy: I... have not been adopted yet. I know, it's heart-wrenching, but save your tears. There's a way you can help, and it's by taking me home. Who wouldn't want a cuddly girl like me? A kind stranger found me wandering homeless and alone and took me to the safety of the Ranch all the way back in 2020. It's nice to get lots of love and to have enough to eat, but it's not the same as being in a real home. The Ranch has set me up for my future family as best as possible by training me. I know my basic commands like Sit and Speak, and I'm great on a leash as long as an experienced, grown-up handler is guiding me. I would benefit from continued training to help me be the best dog I can be, and our trainers at the Ranch are more than happy to assist! Trust me, they know I'm worth it. I know I'm a bit of a big girl and I can get a little excited when meeting new friends, but that's just because I'm hoping every person I meet will be The One. My ideal adoption would be to a family where I can be the only pet in the home, as my hard life on the streets didn't allow me to learn that other dogs can be my friends. I'm looking for someone who understands my quirks and needs and is willing to look beyond my hard past and see me for the snuggly, bed-loving, treat-obsessed big baby I really am. I have a huge fan club here at the Ranch, and they'll all tell you just how wonderful I am if you take the chance to ask about me.
