My story
Meet Sleepy, a charming tan and black chihuahua mix. He's a male, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations, with a microchip for added safety. Sleepy had a rough start, abandoned and found on the streets of Modesto in September 2023, but he's a resilient 12-pound bundle of love. With the help of Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows, he's on a journey of rehabilitation and is steadily improving. Though he's still a bit wary of new people, he's making daily strides in becoming more social. Keep an eye out for when Sleepy is ready to meet and greet – he's an awesome pup with a heartwarming story.
