My story

Hey, y'all. Im PEANUT! I'm a petite little girl weighing only 8 pounds and about 1.5 years old. I had a rough start in my first year of life, but I'm doing so much better with my foster mom. I am still a diamond in the rough but with the right adopter, I WILL BE the best ME. I was afraid of grass and anything that moved or towered over me, but I love the grass now and am still working on getting used to loud noises and big humans. I do well with other dogs, but I don't know personal space. So if you have doggy siblings for me, I need them to be patient and tolerant. I also am interested in cats, but only to be friends; I would not hurt them! I'm kennel trained and sleep in my kennel (I like to put anything and everything in my mouth), and housebreaking is on the right track, but I'll need to continue to work on it in my new home. I love food and eat very fast; a slow feed bowl is a good tool, although I look silly going round and round chasing my morsels. I'm fed in my kennel because I will try to eat all my current pack mates' food. I will sit for treats, and my foster mom says with the right adopter and time, I could learn lots! I do well riding in the car and walking on a leash and would do best with a fenced yard. I'm okay with older well-behaved children but remember, I'm an "in your face" kinda gal.
