Meet Clara Holliday: The Velvet-Coated Sweetheart! Introducing Clara Holliday, our stunning seven-year-old beauty with fur as soft as velvet! Weighing in at a solid 60 pounds, Clara is part of our prestigious Canine Good Citizen Program and our Superdog Program. This lovely lady has been making incredible strides since coming into our care, and she's ready to find her forever home. Clara's journey has been one of resilience and transformation. Found abandoned with her puppies, she came to us shy and unsure of human touch. Through the dedication of her foster and our volunteers, she has blossomed into a sweet, loving dog who enjoys life's simple pleasures. She loves sharing kisses, getting belly rubs, and soaking up all the love she can get. Clara currently resides in boarding but enjoys weekend getaways with her foster, where she gets to experience the comforts of home and the joy of companionship. She's been making great progress with positive crate training and is becoming more comfortable with each passing day. This lovely lady does best with proper introductions to other dogs and has been fantastic with several males at her boarding facility. She has a great working drive and thrives with positive reinforcement. Clara needs a patient and loving home willing to work with her until she feels fully comfortable. Clara has a bit of separation anxiety, but once she's settled in, she's absolutely fine. She's a good girl who deserves a family that will continue to help her grow and feel secure. Her transformation from a fearful stray to a loving companion has been remarkable, and she's ready to share her journey with a family who will treasure her. Clara is looking for either a foster or an adopter to give her the loving home she's been waiting for since 11-21-2020.
