My story

It feels like I'm a super star! According to my friends at the shelter, I'm receiving love from around the globe. At the shelter, I get so much love that I cannot believe I can get any more. Even though I've been here for a long time, I don't mind. Comfortable beds are my favorite thing, and I get to sleep in my favorite bed every day. I enjoy going for walks several times a day with my people. My favorite foster home has no other dogs, so I get all the attention I deserve. I even get car rides to see all the sights of Naples. It is always a question about why I have been at the shelter so long. Well, for one thing, I do not like cats and they cannot be in my new home. I love my people, but new ones need to gain my trust. Getting to know me can take me a few times, because I can be a bit high maintenance with new people. Due to the difficulty I have making new friends, I prefer a quiet home where very few people visit. I also need a house to myself because although I can play with other dogs, I prefer to be alone in my own house. Shyla's adoption fee has been graciously sponsored by one of her human friends. All of our canines are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, receive monthly parasite prevention, and we offer free behavior support for the lifetime of your pet. We also include a free collar and leash in your adoption package.
