My story

Tucker is a 5-year-old Shepherd mix with soulful eyes and a heart full of quiet love, rescued from a crowded shelter in Alabama where his gentle nature nearly went unnoticed. Naturally shy and a bit timid in new situations, Tucker takes time to warm up—but once he trusts you, he becomes a loyal shadow, always close by and ready for cuddles. He has a moderate energy level and enjoys the simple things: soft toys to chew, gentle playtime, and quiet moments on the couch. Tucker is fully housetrained and gets along well with other calm, respectful dogs, which can help boost his confidence. Because of his sensitive nature, he’s best suited for an adult-only home with a peaceful environment and patient adopters who can offer consistency, kindness, and a calm routine.
