Now she is at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, recieving the medical care she needed. Duchess is a stunning girl with soulful, floppy ears that can hear the promise of a brighter future from miles away. Despite her tragic past, she remains incredibly sweet and craves the warmth of human touch. She loves to run in the yard, sniff around, and engage in play with her roommates. While Duchess gets along with her canine companions, she seems to prefer the company of more mellow dogs. It's important to note that Duchess needs some training for her quirks, and her ideal home would not include young children. The good news is that Big Dog Ranch offers a FREE training session when you adopt this sweet girl. She also grapples with separation anxiety, so a loving family who can provide the patience and understanding she needs would be ideal. When she's not playing or exploring, Duchess revels in cozy naps, making her the perfect movie-night companion.
