My story

Meet Fanta, a spirited and confident 5-year-old mixed breed who was found as a stray in Hendry County and brought to Big Dog Ranch to start her search for a forever home. She has a bold personality and plenty of energy, making her a great fit for someone who leads an active lifestyle and can keep her mentally and physically engaged. Fanta is dog selective and tends to be dominant and pushy with other dogs, so any canine companion would need to be the right match, with proper introductions and ongoing monitoring. Because of her strong prey drive, she is not suited for a home with cats. She also isn’t the best fit for homes with young children, as her energy and exuberance may be overwhelming for them. She’s housetrained, walks well on a leash, and has a big love for toys—playtime is definitely her favorite part of the day. While she may come on strong, Fanta is full of personality and potential. With the right guidance and structure, she’ll make a loyal and lively companion.
