Pellets: 1 tablespoon Adult Oxbow Essentials (AM) Hay: Unlimited mixed hay (All day) Salad: 1x a day 1 cup spring mix, romaine lettuce, cilantro, parsley Introducing Clementine, a sweet, healthy bunny with a beautiful velvety orange and white coat! Despite the challenges she's faced after being surrendered due to pet restrictions, Clementine remains a shining example of resilience and hope. With a little patience and understanding, she's slowly learning to trust again and discovering the joys of simple pleasures, like accepting treats and retreating to her cozy hidey for some well-deserved relaxation. Clementine's enthusiasm for mealtime is simply contagious, and her eagerness for breakfast and dinner is a heartwarming sight to behold. Yet, despite her enthusiasm, Clementine has been patiently waiting for over a year to find her forever home-a home filled with love, patience, and the promise of a bright future. Are you ready to be the beacon of light in Clementine's journey, offering her the warmth and security she so deeply deserves? Medical History: Because Clementine is over 5 years old, vets recommend annual bloodwork in addition to annual vaccines. Clementine is temporarily on a hay only diet to encourage hay intake and resolve mild points on her teeth. Spayed, date 1/10/2023 Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease caused by a calicivirus that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. It is not contagious to people or other animals. For the first time, the virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. UPDATE: In May 2021, California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has confirmed new cases of RHDV in rabbits in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura County. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit.
