Pellets: 1/8 cup adult oxbow pellets (AM) Hay: Unlimited mixed hay (All day) Salad: 1x a day 1 cup spring mix, parsley, cilantro, romaine lettuce Introducing Mango, the epitome of sweetness and gentleness! This adorable bunny thrives on cuddles and affection, melting hearts with every soft nuzzle. With a hearty appetite for fresh salad and hay. Although Mango's previous family had to bid him farewell due to moving and allergies, this resilient little guy hasn't lost an ounce of his charm or easy-going nature. He's as lovable and adaptable as ever, quickly warming up to new friends and making everyone feel right at home. Now back at SDHRS, Mango is ready to find his forever family-the one who will shower him with love and care, just like he deserves. If you're searching for a cuddly companion who will brighten your days with his gentle spirit and affectionate personality, look no further than Mango. He's waiting to steal your heart and become your forever friend! Medical history: Mango had a small mass removed from his right shoulder. A sample of the mass was sent to a lab for testing and confirmed as benign. Mango is also on a diet due to being overweight. Because Mango is over 5 years old, vets recommend annual bloodwork in addition to annual vaccines. Neutered 4/16/2018 Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease caused by a calicivirus that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. It is not contagious to people or other animals. For the first time, the virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. UPDATE: In May 2021, California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has confirmed new cases of RHDV in rabbits in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura County. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit.
