My story

Meet Wallace! Wallace is incredibly smart! He knows his name now, knows to "box up" AKA get in his crate, plays fetch SO well, and can sit on command. He is a VERY GOOD BOY. Stays in his crate with no whining, rides in the car calmly, and is extremely well behaved at the vet. He walks on a leash well but would do so much better with training. He is housebroken as far as I know. He has NEVER had an accident in the house or in his crate. He has not been allowed to spend a ton of time in the house out of his crate, but him going to the bathroom in the house has never been an issue. He loves to play with our female pit, so I think he would do very well in a home with a dog that is a similar size to him. He kind of runs over our miniature poodle, but not on purpose. He is kind to the cats but very curious, so they aren't huge fans him. He is definitely still a puppy and has no control of his long limbs with all his pent-up energy! He is a "talker" and likes to howl-bark when he is excited but is not a huge barker indoors otherwise. In general he is calm and constantly observing with very smart eyes. He loves snuggles on the couch and I think would love to sleep in bed with his people if given the chance to be trained well. He is extremely trainable and is food motivated, but never any food aggressive that I have seen. We feed all dogs separately but give treats all together and there has never been an issue. Wallace would do best in a home with active people who will take him out into the world and spend time training him. He would do well as an only dog or with other dogs. He is a smart, handsome man who deserves the world!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Wallace, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
