My story
My name is Mikey. I am a shepherd mix and my birthday is December 29, 2023. I was rescued by Boaz Animal Control and brought to Second Chance Shelter in Boaz Alabama 2 years ago. My friend who works at the shelter worked with me a few days before I decided she was alright. I'm so grateful I decided to go with her because now I have lots of friends. Although I can be a little bit timid at first it's not long before I start playing my favorite game, catch me if you can. I love treats, washing my feet off in my water bowl, and spending time playing with my roommate Judie. I may have lots of energy, but that just means I can do so many more activities.
