Mousey

My story

Mousey, a 9-year-old female declawed cat, spent 3 years of her life confined to a pet carrier with her food, water, and litter box. Her human parents, one battling dementia and the other on hospice, believed this was the best arrangement for her. Thankfully, Mousy was rescued and brought to Feline Foster Farm, where she could rebuild trust in humans and come out of her shell. Mousey was adopted by a sweet young lady that said Mousey came out of her shell in just one week. She was a cuddle bug who loved her human. But after a year of being settled, her human was diagnosed with cancer. The chemo treatments caused the human to develop an allergy to sweet Mousey. After trying many remedies that did not work, Mousey came back to the farm. We hope we can find Mousey her furever home with her very own human in a quiet, loving, and patient home.
