My story

Meet George, the ultimate gentle giant with a heart as big as his personality! This sweet, affectionate boy is the definition of a happy-go-lucky best friend. Whether he’s lounging on the couch, cruising in the car (where he’s a total pro), or greeting new people with full-body wiggles of pure joy, George makes every moment brighter. He’s fantastic with kids, loves his chew toys (his lobster and broccoli are favorites!), and gets just the right amount of zoomies before settling in for snuggles.George is a perfect mix of relaxed and playful—he matches the energy of his people and is just happy to be included. He knows how to sit and shake, has been a dream in the house, and recently started sleeping outside of his crate at night, usually curled up with the kids for extra cuddles. He’s gentle, rarely barks, and genuinely just loves being around his family. If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered, and all-around incredible dog, George is ready to be your new best friend!To meet our available animals, visit our Northside shelter locations any day between 1-6pm.
