Bently is going on an Emergency Placement Deadline for 3pm 03/12/24. He is available for foster or adoption through PACC. Actually, he’s more than ready!! This sweet, social guy has lots of friends at the shelter, but what he’d love more than anything is a family of his very own. Despite having a moderate bite on his record for injuring a small dog while at large Here’s what some of his friends have said about him:“I met Bently for the first time today. He was immediately friendly and was excited to get out on his walk. He walked well on leash and enjoyed exploring all the sights and smells in the park. He was responsive when I called his name and would turn around and give me the biggest grin before we continued on our way. Bently enjoyed some pets and he has the softest fur! I’d love to see this sweet boy find a loving home- he deserves it!”“This handsome boy was such a joy to walk. Such a sweetheart! He would check in with me frequently to make sure we were going the right way and really enjoyed a relaxing walk and taking time to enjoy the park and sniff all the flowers.”While in the shelter Bently has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. However, due to a recent note that he might have issues with vulnerable dogs, Bently would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit and he will also be looking for a home without small dogs or other small pets.
