Yin Yang

My story

Hello, I'm Yin Yang, named for the beautiful black and white markings on my face. I came to the Ranch in 2023 from the streets of Puerto Rico. I lived a hard life out there, and I arrived very timid and unsure of my future. I had never been shown love before and didn't know what it meant to be petted or taken for a walk. I had to learn all of these things in time, with lots of slow, gentle encouragement. I may be shy when I first meet you, but if you're patient and caring with me, I will open up and show you the real me. I would do best in a home with no children who might scare me, though I get along well with other doggies and may benefit from having a confident dog in my home. I love to run around in a yard once I'm familiar with the environment and I have a playful side some have seen as surprising. I have learned how to give kisses and how to accept gentle pets from trusted hands. I've even learned what a belly rub is! Gotta say, I'm a fan. I know I can give my love because I've learned how to here at the Ranch, I just need a caring person to bring me into their zen garden so I can finally be at peace.
