My story

Adopted from ACPS as a puppy, we were heartbroken when about a year later Lovie was found injured and cowering under a trailer. Still, she was sweet and well behaved with our animal control officers, and has remained a shelter favorite since she returned. This angelic-faced girl did get adopted again, but was then returned because of rental restrictions. Even so, her adopters raved about her personality--loving and polite with everyone, and that she was `amazing` with the family`s young child. Lovie is indeed a gentle soul, curious and playful, and a big fan of baths and car rides. She walks well on a leash, adores attention, and her favorite treat is...duck feet! (But dried turkey will do if you can`t find those.) She does enjoy playing with other respectful dogs, so with a slow introduction she might make a great companion for not only your kids, but your resident canine. There`s a good reason why she`s named `Lovie`--come meet this beautiful joy of a dog and find out why!
