My story

Hi! I'm Morris! I'm very active and adventurous and am looking for a family that is too! I love to explore and play outside - I'm happiest off leash when I can run like the wind! I love running through the woods, rolling around in fields of high grass and chasing waves along the lake shore. I'm a strong swimmer and love going for rides in boats, canoes and paddle boards. I have a TON of energy, but as long as I get a few hours of exercise a day, I am pretty chill and can play independently with toys or with other dogs, so if you have a nice big yard and another dog or two that loves to play, that would be oh-so-great! In the evenings, when I'm sleepy I love to cuddle up and sleep with my humans. Technically, I am kennel trained, potty trained and leash trained - and will do all that when we gotta, but I'm a free spirit at heart. I'm still teething, and need lots of chews to keep my chompers occupied. I'm a chocolate lab/pit mix and will likely grow up to be a large size dog. Thanks for checking me out! I can't wait to meet and start loving my forever family! Morris is a male Labrador Retriever mix with an estimated date of birth of 8/27/23.
