My story

Hi, I’m Sprout—a 6-year-old, 58-pound loyal lovebug with a zest for life and a tail that never stops wagging. I just got back from a foster home, and they helped me learn a lot! I’m sweet, smart, and oh-so-snuggly, but I’ve got some serious energy, too.I love walks (maybe a little too much—I’m still working on not pulling like a freight train), so I’d do best with a strong person and a fenced yard where I can stretch my legs. I’m super treat motivated, crate trained, and I already know “sit” and “shake”! I even almost mastered “spin” (nailed the dramatic flair, if I do say so myself).I got along well with my foster sister dog, especially when we played rough and tumble, and I love being brushed—it’s my spa moment. I’m not a match for cats or small animals, and I may not be the best fit for small kids or seniors just because I’m strong and still learning not to jump when I get excited, but who knows? Maybe that`s just what you`re looking for in your new best friend - me!I’m loyal, eager to please, and always want to be near my person. I just need someone who will help me channel my enthusiasm into being the very best boy. Could that be you?~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events).
