My story

Now and then, we meet a truly remarkable cat. Juniper is one of them. Our volunteer team is crazy about this joyful 6-month-old girl. She loves to play, purr, knead, and hang out with people. Her joy is contagious. A kind person rescued Juniper from a horrible situation that probably included animal abuse. She bounced back quickly and will make a fabulous family companion. Juniper tested positive for Feline Leukemia with a regressive infection. PLEASE KEEP READING! We know so much more about this virus now. Cats with a regressive infection have a low risk of developing FeLV-related diseases. The regressive phase of FeLV infection is temporary for most cats, and they can become free of the virus within a few years. So for Juniper, the long-term outlook is good. Feline leukemia is a cat-only disease, so Juniper can live in a home with dogs and rabbits, or just with her favorite species - you! Please ask us if you have questions about FeLV. Fill out an adoption application (https://www.fofct.org/adoption-app) and come and meet this joyful girl. Thanks to the generosity of a caring volunteer, Juni's adoption fee is covered, making it even easier to bring this beautiful soul into your life. Please note applicants MUST reside within 45 miles of Stamford, CT, and have reliable transportation. Some cats may be restricted to a smaller radius on a case-by-case basis.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Juniper, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
