Meet Gus, a charming 2-year-old boxer mix, who loves his people. Gus is not always sure about meeting strangers but once he trusts you, you will have a best friend for life. He also has done wonderfully with both cats and other dogs so would be a great addition to your pack.. His crate training and house training make him a well-behaved furry friend, ensuring a smooth transition into any home. Gus is a total love bug, ready to shower affection and warmth on his new family members. With his lovable personality, Gus is destined to become an awesome furry family member. KNOWN WITH DOGS: Gus has done well playing with dogs he has met here so far, and has previously lived with dogs. KNOWN WITH CATS: Yes Gus has lived with cats before and done great. He loves snuggling them. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Gus isn't always sure about meeting new people, but has done great living with kids before and done well meeting kids at the Trails Home Farm. He is friendly and playful but he might knock someone over since he's a big boy KNOWN CUES: Gus knows 'sit', 'down', and 'paw' and is working on learning 'touch', 'spin', and 'crawl'. He is very smart and loves to learn KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Gus is reportedly house trained and crate trained and would be a great addition to any home. KNOWN LIKES: Affection, treats, walks and toys KNOWN DISLIKES: Strangers approaching too quickly.
