My story

He`s a low energy, crate-trained dog that loves to have his neck scratched, and bask in the sun. Pros: — Loves people (Good with kids) — Potty trained — Crate trained (he sleeps there every night by choice) — He knows `Sit` and `Lay down` — Trained to use tappable buttons to communicate with you (he uses buttons for `Food` `Water` `Outside` and `Scratch` (aka `pet me` but is fine if you put them away as needed.) — Stays off furniture if you want (only occasional reminders needed) — Lower energy - only the occasional zoomies or extra energy when he first meets you or you first get home. — Loves to just sit on the porch with you or lay in the sun — Doesn`t pull the leash while walking — No issues with touching his paws/face/teeth etc (easy to bathe) — He follows your lead on morning wake-up. He waits to be called down for his morning potty break unless it`s urgent, and sleeps in more on the weekends with us. — No separation anxiety. Easily goes to his crate or stays corralled in the kitchen when we go out as long as he has a bed and a treat. — Infrequent barking (the training buttons and better diet helped a ton!! Now he only barks for urgent potty breaks) — Cute forehead wrinkles and sleepy old man eyes Why we think he`s a foster baby: — No wheat diet (we thought we had a dog with chronic IBS - Nope! Just needed the right food. It`s honestly easy. No specialty stores required. We get his favorite eats and treats at Target) — He prefers to chill with his people and bask on the back porch!
