My story

I’m Maxi, and I’m looking for my true forever home - one where I can spend my golden years surrounded by love and care. I may be 10 years old, but I’ve got plenty of pep in my step! I love chasing tennis balls and snuggling up for some cozy cuddle time. Life hasn’t always been kind to me... I’ve spent way too much of my life in the shelter. When I thought I found my forever family last July, I was over the moon, but then I ended up back here when a kind stranger found me wandering as a stray. My heart broke when my family didn’t want me back. Despite the challenges, I haven’t let that dim my spirit. I get along better with female dogs, have lived with cats, and get along wonderfully with kids - I love being part of a family. I’m also a very clean boy who enjoys leisurely strolls to take in all the smells. All I want is a loving home where I can feel safe, loved, and cherished. I promise to fill your life with loyalty, joy, and plenty of tennis balls!
