If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.  Meet Dax, a wonderful 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur who is ready to find his forever home! This handsome boy weighs 55 pounds and has been patiently waiting for his new family since January. Rescued from euthanasia, Dax has proven to be a true treasure. Dax is fully housebroken and crate-trained, making him a well-mannered addition to any home. He gets along well with other dogs and loves playing and being sweet. His laid-back nature ensures he's an easy-going companion. Please note that Dax prefers a home without cats.
