Female, 9 years old, 59 lbs Good with: Dogs, kids Not good with: Cats House trained: Yes Energy level: Moderate Noise level: Some, talks to other dogs and responds to some noises Hello there! I'm McJingles. I'm a girl who absolutely adores hooman attention and, of course, my doggie pals. I'm a joy to have around the house, with not a single potty accident to my name. I'm so well-behaved that I don't even need to be crated. Snuggles are my absolute favorite, and if you allow it, I'll happily curl up on your lap. I'm always eager to go outside, filled with anticipation about who I might meet and play with. Oddly enough, I have a penchant for chasing cats and squirrels, but fetching a ball? Not my thing. I'd rather romp around with my doggie pals. However, there's one thing I must confess – car rides are not my cup of tea. In fact, I downright refuse, and they make me a bit queasy. I'm a bit of a talker too, engaging in occasional conversations with other dogs or responding to interesting noises. In particular, I love to help out the medics and firemen by howling as their sirens go by! My foster mom is still deciphering what I'm saying, but it's all part of my charm. Training-wise, I've got the basics down – I'll sit for treats, especially the soft kind since I'm short on a few teeth. Bath time? No problem, I sit like a champ. However, I could use a bit of leash training, as my excitement sometimes gets the best of me. I'm working on my recall and the "leave it" command. I'm very well behaved otherwise, though, and enjoy just hanging out! Now, I must admit that I get a bit nervous when seeking affection, but it's only because I want to be loved on. My foster mom is patient and understanding, knowing that I might have some past traumas. Patience in my forever home would be appreciated! I'm house trained and have a moderate energy level, making me an ideal companion for long or short walks and playtime with other pups. My daily routine includes an early morning potty break, a delicious breakfast, a long walk, and some quality snooze time until my foster mom returns from work. Surprise lunch potty breaks are always appreciated. Dinner is between 5-6 pm, followed by another long evening walk and playtime. While I don't require a yard, having one would be a bonus. I'm an obedient, playful, affectionate, eager-to-please, gentle girl – the perfect addition to any loving family. I can't wait to meet you and become a part of your home! Likes: Humans and doggos, meal time, nap time, pets, and belly rubs! Dislikes : Car rides, hard kibble (I prefer soft food!) My ideal home: People who will love me and give me attention! I'm flexible and can adapt to a variety of settings.
