My story

Meet Rush – Your Ultimate Adventure Sidekick! Hey, future best friend, I am looking for my superhero! I’m Rush, a 2-year-old Husky mix with magical eyes and a heart overflowing with love. My life as a stray before coming to the Humane Society of Sedona was tough, but I have been at the shelter for 15 months and this is also pretty hard on me. It’s becoming very tough to stay optimistic. It’s noisy in here, stressful, worrisome and although the staff and volunteers love on me, I am still restricted to a kennel for most of my day. This is really difficult for an active young Husky like me. I’m ready to swap the kennel for a lifetime of fun, cuddles, and nonstop adventures with YOU! At 65 pounds of enthusiasm, I’m a bundle of energy who lives for running, playing, and exploring. If you’re looking for a hiking buddy, jogging partner, or someone to motivate you to get outside more, I’m your guy! It will take me some time at your house to decompress from these months of shelter life so I ask you to give me many days to relax, rest, get familiar with your home and learn all the rules of home life. I’d thrive in an adult-only home where I can soak up all the attention and training I need to become my best self.As for my personality? I am charming, curious, loyal, and just a little quirky! I will start off a little shy, but once we learn to trust each other, I’ll be the most devoted companion you could ask for. And hey, I’d prefer to be your one and only, so if you’re looking for a solo pup to shower with love, I’m the perfect match!Ready to start this fun and entertaining journey with me? I’m fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and absolutely ready to meet you. I`ve got smarts, strength, and a deep love for people all wrapped into one gorgeous package.
