My story

Meet Benji, a charming 4- to 5-year-old, 15-lb. Yorkie mix searching for his forever home. This sweet male pup is a resilient soul, having been surrendered due to mistreatment by kids in his previous home. As a result, Benji is seeking a kid-free environment to thrive in. While Benji may take a minute to warm up, once he does, he transforms into the biggest cuddle bug you'll ever meet. His affectionate nature shines, making him an ideal companion for someone patient and understanding. Benji is not just a cuddler, he's a smart and energetic pup with a love for work. His impressive drive and engagement make him an excellent candidate for an active home that enjoys training. His intelligence means he learns quickly, making him a joy to work with. On walks, Benji proves to be a well-behaved companion, walking gracefully on a leash. He also rides well in a car. He's fully potty trained and crate trained, showcasing his adaptability and discipline. While big dogs make him uneasy, he shows a hint of curiosity towards smaller canine friends. However for now, Benji would thrive best in a single-dog household.
