Gala (Gridiron)

My story

Meet Gala (Gridiron), she came to the shelter due to no fault of her own. Her former family reported that she is a fun and outgoing girl, and she is friendly and playful. Gala enjoys toys, playing tug of war, and exploring the great outdoor. She has been exposed to children from babies to teenagers and does well. She also did well with both small and large dogs. She is housebroken and is able to be crated when needed. She was also able to be left alone uncrated, and she did not get into anything. Gala is a gentle giant at 99 pounds. She is working on her leash skills and doing a great job. Gala is becoming more and more snuggly as she gets comfortable here. On her Dog’s Day Out adventure, she was a bit nervous at first, but once she warmed up, this 99-pound lovebug revealed her true self—a lap dog at heart who couldn’t get enough belly rubs and snuggle time! Once she trusts you, Gala listens beautifully to cues like “stay” and “sit.” She also seems to do well with children—she happily lounged at the park while patiently listening to her 9-year-old friend read her stories. Gala loves car rides and was a perfect backseat passenger.She would thrive in a patient, calm home where she can continue to blossom and share her affectionate nature. With Gala, you’ll gain not only a loyal companion but also the sweetest snuggle partner.
